In the state of Himachal Pradesh lies a small town named Kasauli. It is situated at an altitude of 1,927 m. This place has mythological significance. It is believed that Kasauli came into existence after Lord Hanuman stepped his foot on this land to look for Sanjeevani hill.
Not only mythological but Kasauli has historical significance as well. It was developed by the British Empire during its successful period in India. That was our pre-independence period. Despite of the beauty of Kasauli, one has to look for it in the map. It seems like a serene, peaceful but like an incognito place.

Gurudwara Shri Guru Nanakji
This is a very holy and peaceful Gurudwara in Kasauli. There are lodging facilities as well. Daily prayers are conducted and special arrangements are arranged on Sundays.
At sunset point one can visualize the beauty of Kasauli. There is also a cafeteria at this place. Sandwich, coffee, tea, etc. are available here. It gives a soothing experience once you visit the beautiful sunset point.
This is said to be the highest point in Kasauli. It is believed that Lord Hanuman stepped his feet here when he was looking for Sanjeevani herb (buti). One temple is also located here which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The view from top of hill is truly wonderful and serene. You can also enjoy the visuals of magnificent Satluj River. There are certain restrictions once you enter temple. You are not allowed to click pictures inside the temple.
